Health data and AI consent notice
This is the notice ceria shows before you connect a health source or turn on AI coaching. It is here so you can read it first.
Health data
- ceria reads these from Health Connect on your phone, and only reads: steps, resting heart rate, heart rate, sleep, weight, body fat, exercise sessions, total calories burned, active calories burned, distance, elevation gained.
- It uses them to set your calorie target, show your recovery and training trend, and suggest an easier week when you need one.
- ceria never writes to Health Connect, never sells your data and never uses it for advertising.
AI coaching
- AI coaching is optional. If you turn it on, the question you ask and the summary needed to answer it are sent to an AI provider. Your name and email are not. You can turn it off at any time, and ceria works without it.
The coach suggests; you confirm. It can never change your plan, your log or your settings on its own.
Your choices
- You can disconnect Health Connect, export your data or delete your account whenever you like.
The two consents are separate. You can allow health data and refuse AI, or the other way round.
